Send files
- Select the photos you want me to edit
- Go to Files at the top
- Export as catalog
- Name your catalog couple_name_to_edit and choose where you want to save it
- Check only the box build/include smart previews (click here to see the screenshot)
- Click on export catalog
- Once exported, make sure you have 2 files:
couple_name_to_edit smart previews.lrdata
Zip everything and send it my way.
Good news, the hardest part is done!

- Download the edited catalog (#XXX Name of the couple)
- Open your unedited catalog (the one you sent me)
- Go to Files at the top.
- Import from another catalog. Choose #XXX name of the couple
- Next to File Handling chose: Don't import new photos (click here to see the screenshot).
- Next to replace choose: Metadata and develop setting only (click here to see the screenshot).
- Uncheck Preserve old setting as virtual copies (click here to see the screenshot).
Edits will magically appear progressively.

Super easy to do.
Go to the DEVELOP mode, then under collection in the left panel look for the Smart collection and then right click on it/import smart collection settings / choose the smart collection you want to import.
Easy peasy!
